Yes you can boost your website traffic this very day. And I don't mean necessarily by using pay per click methods which can be expensive. There are other things you can do. Blogging - blogging is a great way to boost traffic to your site. Michael Cheney taught me how to set up a blog properly to get traffic. If you don't already have a blog I recommend you set one up under its own domain name (with relevant keywords in it) and then install wordpress. You can set it up to automatically to send a ping to blog directories and blog sites. There are plenty of them you can find them by doing a search on Google or if you would like more traffic boosting knowledge then from one of Michael's products. Forum posting - there is a forum for every subject I can think of and you can mostly join for free. Search for them on Google by typing in your keyword plus the word forum. You shouldn't promote your products or services in the forum post but focus on writing great posts and offer help and advice. You then do your selling bit in your forum signature. This can often bring a boost in traffic in a day - but make sure you stick to the threads that are busy with lots of people looking. Writing articles - some of the article directories review your article before they post it to ensure quality and some don't, and that means you can get an article with a link to your web site showing within a few hours. Other people pick up on them and use them for content on their own sites and all the time your link is in the author bio box pointing to your site. Digg it - Digg is a wonderful site where you can post a small snippet or summary of your blog post, article post, or text from your web site. It doesn't take long at all for this to appear on their high ranking and busy pages, again offering a potential boost to your site traffic. Email your list - you should have your own list as they know you, trust you and hopefully will listen to you and look at what you have to say. I know some people that have lists of over 60,000. When you have built this up it is easy to get traffic to your offer whenever you want - just don't email them too often. Joint Ventures - politely ask another list owner in your business if you can form a mutually beneficial partnership and let them promote to your list, or put a banner on your web site. In exchange you get to do the same, but emailing to their list is the most beneficial thing to do and this can bring you a boost to your internet traffic. Make sure you aren't in direct competition with each other. To use a popular example, if you knew a business that sold gold clubs and you sold golf shoes then you have a product that will be of interest but not in direct competition.
